Compared to other possibilities of sound reduction, e.g. the attachment of sound absorbers to the walls and the ceilings, not only the diffuse sound pressure level in the room is reduced.<\/p>\n<p>Under the constraints of professional design, also the emission sound pressure level can be lowered drastically. So, the mean dose rate of noise, a worker is exposed in the near of a machine, is reduced significantly.<\/p>\n<p data-wp-editing=\"1\"><!--contentpartdivider--><\/p>\n<h4>Efficiency of enclosure<\/h4>\n<p>The efficiency of enclosures is determined by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the sound insulation of the enclosure wall<\/li>\n<li>the sound absorption coefficient of additional lining in the interior of the enclosure<\/li>\n<li>the surface of the enclosure walls as well as<\/li>\n<li>the isolation between the enclosure and the machine with respect to avoiding structure-borne sound<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Design and evaluation of enclosure<\/h4>\n<p>Our services include the professional acoustic design of enclosures and cabins with the help of DIN EN\u00a0ISO\u00a015667 with respect to given requests. We determine the required decrease of sound pressure level and design an enclosure that is specified to your machine and surrounds it.<\/p>\n<p>Thereby, depending on the specific case, the enclosure wall is a single-leaf one with a shell of steel panel and a sound absorbing layer in between. The thickness and type of lining strongly depends on the operational frequency range. If necessary, a structur-borne sound isolation regarding the placemnet of the machine is provided.<\/p>\n<p>We also measure the reduction of the sound power level (insertion loss) of completed or already existing enclosures under laboratory conditions or in situ according to DIN EN ISO 11546.<\/p>\n<p>For cabins (e. g. a phone box), we determine the reduction of the sound pressure level, that means the difference of the sound pressure level outside and inside the cabin as well as the resulting insertion loss by measurement under laboratory conditions or in situ according to DIN EN ISO 11957. For closed cabins, but also for partially open noise-reducing furniture ensembles, additionally the speech level reduction according to ISO 23351-1 can be measured. For that, I special artificial mouth noise source is applied.<\/p>\n<p><!--contentpartdivider--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_11607\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a
