evaluation and the reduction of noise resulting from road traffic and air traffic, the Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Akustikforschung Dresden mbH deals with rail noise, namely the noise emission and noise propagation at rail vehicles and track installations.<\/p>\n<p><!--contentpartdivider--><\/p>\n<p>To examine the noise emission of rail vehicles during pass-by, we offer the following services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>determination of the A-weighted equivalent continuous sound pressure level and the exposition level according to DIN EN ISO 3095<\/li>\n<li>determination of the vibration behavior of track installations in horizontal and vertical direction<\/li>\n<li>localization of dominant noise sources by applying a microphone array (compare to <a title=\"Messungen mit AcoustiCam\u00ae\" href=\"https:\/\/www.akustikforschung.de\/en\/leistungen\/maschinenakustik\/lokalisation\/messungen-mit-acousticam\/\">Measurements with AcoustiCam<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, to determine, to evaluate and to optimize the vibration behavior, the structure-borne sound attenuation and the radiated sound power of track installations, investigations at models of track installations can be carried out:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>numerical modeling by means of finite element method (<a title=\"FEM\" href=\"https:\/\/www.akustikforschung.de\/en\/know-how\/numerische-akustik\/fem-finite-elemente-methode\/\">FEM<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>acquisition by application of vibration and microphone measurement instrumentation (see also <a title=\"Modal analysis\" href=\"https:\/\/www.akustikforschung.de\/en\/leistungen\/maschinenakustik\/strukturanalyse\/modalanalyse\/\">Modal
