AcoustiCalc^{® Silencer light}

The absorption muffler software AcoustiCalc® Silencer light can be used for the quick and simple acoustic design of circular, absorbent-lined ducts (pipe silencers) and rectangular silencers with parallel sound-absorbing baffles (baffle silencers).

On the basis of the well established four-pole theory, the transmission loss of selected mufflers for arbitrary geometry parameters, material porperties and service conditions can be calculated and optimized to comply with specified limit values.

AcoustiNF

The test setup for eigenfrequencies AcoustiNF serves the measurement and verification of the natural frequencies (resonance frequencies) of solid structures.

In combination with a DMC Code scanner and scales, the detection and the quality control of fabricated constructional elements and components (e. g. forged aluminum) of a series can be carried out easily and in no time.

Furthermore, dynamic elastic properties of cuboid specimens for transversal and longitudinal excitation according to DIN EN 14146 and ASTM C215 can be obtained.

Sound absorption meter AcoustiAdrienne

The sound absorption meter AcoustiAdrienne serves the nondestructive measurement of the sound absorption, sound reflection, sound insulation and the sound diffraction of a noise barrier on the basis of the Adrienne method described in DIN EN 1793-4 and DIN EN 16272-4, DIN EN 1793-5 and DIN EN 16272-5 as well as DIN EN 1793-6 and DIN EN 16272-6.

By means of an adapter, the sound absorption coefficient of a road surface according to DIN ISO 13472-1 in situ as well as the sound absorption coefficient of a noise barrier according to DIN CEN/TS 1793-5 and DIN CEN/TS 16272-5 can be determined nondestructively.

On the basis of the measuring results, the sound reflexion of noise barriers can be rated according to ZTV Lsw 22 (for non-reverberant situations). Furthermore, the rated sound absorption coefficient according to DIN EN ISO 11654 of a wall absorber or ceiling absorber being installed in a room can be estimated as well.

Airflow resistivity meter AcoustiFlow^®

The airflow resistivity meter AcoustiFlow^® allows the measurement of the airflow resistance of materials with open porosity on the basis of the static-airflow method (direct-airflow method) described in DIN EN ISO 9053-1 (former DIN EN 29053). This technique requires the measurement of the pressure drop across the specimen to be examined as a function of the volume airflow.

The specific airflow resistance of a sound absorber mainly influences its sound absorption coefficient.

The third and youngest hardware generation of the airflow resistivity meter enables an even wider measuring range, with smaller device dimensions and lower acquisition costs.
